CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (GERMAN)

Job function:
• Responding to first line telephone and written enquiries in respect of product selection, intermediate level technical advice, price, availability and delivery.
• Liaising with Sales, Order Fulfillment, Accounts and Production to ensure excellent level of service is provided.
• As directed by Sales, proactively contact existing customers to pursue business opportunities by promoting product offerings and soliciting orders.
• Accept customer orders and perform timely and accurate order entry onto SAP system.
• Receiving and logging customer complaints/problems and taking ownership of the situation. Liaising as necessary to ensure that the customer receives an appropriate and timely response.
Skills and Abilities required:
• Native speaker German (or equivalent) and fluent English.
• 2 ó 4 of customer service / call center experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of S.A.P. system would be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer. Computerized order processing knowledge preferred.
Profile: Highly professional and service-orientated telephone manner with ability to liaise with contractors and employees at all levels. Possess exceptional administration, organizational, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
